This one was an unexpected success after lots of trial and error. My right eye ended up perfectly in focus, which I love, but I wish I would make a larger area including both eyes stay in focus. I like the first filter a lot but I had to add the second one to match my next picture (just to a lesser extent.)
Okay, this one here was a lot of fun. Originally, my skin turned out looking terribly red and patchy. I slapped on a Matrix filter to balance out the red, and because I was enjoying this too much I resized it to a widescreen aspect ratio to take the cinematic feel even further. My face did not turn out looking the best, but I loved the background so much I had to make it work. I took it by holding out my arm selfie style and spinning on my heel while taking the photo. I know many have pulled this kind of thing off much better but I like it. (Full disclosure, I didn't airbrush my skin or anything, but I did touch it up to remove some of the many skin blemishes because this one was so close up.)
I wish I knew a better way to get this effect with more control over what ends up in the center. I wish I could make it the stop sign, but I like this one the way it is.
My favorites are definitely numbers 2 and 3. I love how the colors blend in the blur, and the sun draws attention to the tree that would otherwise be overlooked for the bright blue sky.
