Like Allie says, the first picture has a good balance. With shots like that, what if you added some more color and interest by scattering leaves or flower petals or something on the ground? I don't know, but that might add something.
Look at the cowses(pronounced: cow-sez)! Hello, cattle! :) There is no question which one I like best, is there? I really like that you got one to look at you! Speaking strictly from my own experience, it's pretty hard to get them to do that for long, and getting a shot that's perfectly clear before they look away? Heh, not that fun. But you pulled it off! It's pretty cool.
